(KNOX) – North Dakota House Minority Leader Zac Ista of Grand Forks said that he will not seek re-election this fall.
Ista was first appointed to the seat in 2020 to fill out Rep. Matt Eidson’s term. He was elected in 2022.
Ista said the legislature demands substantial time away from his family, which is especially difficult while his kids are young.
He said that he looks forward to serving District 43 through the end of his term.
