(KNOX) – North Dakota U.S. Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Energy and Water Appropriations Committee, has secured $50 million for the Eastern North Dakota Area Water Supply project .
$100 million to $120 million to reduce the local cost share for Red River Valley flood protection.
Both measures are expected to generate millions in savings for North Dakota taxpayers.
