(KNOX) – On Saturday the Grand Forks Fire Department was dispatched to University Avenue for a report of a structure fire.
Fire crews arrived on scene and found smoke and flames coming from a multi-story building at that location. Fire crews began suppression efforts and were able to contain the fire to the building.
There were no injuries to any occupants or firefighters on the scene.
The fire department responded with five engines, one ladder truck, one command vehicle, and 19 personnel.
The fire department was assisted by the Grand Forks Police Department, Altru Ambulance and Xcel Energy.
