
(KNOX) – Grand Forks Central scored three times in the first 33 seconds, and held West Fargo to just three shots on goal Friday night in an 8-0 win at Purpur Arena.
Chay Quamme scored at eight seconds, Ryder Rivard 12 seconds later, and Gavin Wockenfuss at 33 seconds. Quamme and Cooper Deziel had two points each in the half-minute of hockey.
Nolan Marto would add a pair of goals, and Rylan Spicer, Trey Clauson, and Carson Kotrba would add goals in the effort.
Central outshot West Fargo 41-3 for the game. The Knights remain unbeaten in East Region play, with 17 total points, one out of first place. Central has given up just nine goals in league play this year.
