(KNOX) – Thompson and Hatton-Northwood have entered, or re-entered a pair of basketball polls in North Dakota.
Thompson is ranked fifth this week in the state Class A girls basketball poll after four straight dominating wins, including a 31-point win over Kindred and a 29-point win over Langdon.
Hatton-Northwood is now tied for fifth in the Class B girls basketball poll. The Thunder have survived two thrillers, edging Hillsboro-Central Valley 53-52 and Sargent County 63-59.
South Prairie-Max remains the top-ranked Class A girls team. Kindred is the top-ranked boys team in Class A hoops. Four Winds-Minnewauken is ranked second.
Central McLean is ranked number one is Class B boys play. Midway-Minto is receiving votes.
