(KNOX) – Early Tuesday morning the Grand Forks Fire Department was dispatched to the Ramada Inn at North 43rd Street.
Crews arrived on scene and encountered light smoke in the building.
Firefighters investigated the source of the smoke and found it to be insulation and building materials smoldering in the roof. Crews quickly extinguished all fire and smoldering materials.
The Grand Forks Fire Department responded with 5 engines, 1 truck, 1 command vehicle and 18 personnel. Grand Forks Fire Department was assisted on scene by the Grand Forks Police Department and Altru Ambulance.
No hotel occupants were displaced due to the fire.
