(KNOX) – Court records said that two men are behind bars following a traffic stop in Grand Forks.
The documents said officers conducted the stop for two passengers not wearing their seatbelts. During the stop, officers say the two male passengers, 49-year-old Jamison Aure and 27-year-old Austin Bercier were nervous, avoiding eye contact and holding on to bags tightly on their laps.
Officers said that a strong odor was coming from the vehicle and a marijuana grinder and drugs were in plain sight.
Bercier was arrested and faces charges of possession with intent to manufacture, deliver, fentanyl and marijuana.
Aure was arrested on an active warrant.
