(By Connor Murphy. UND Today) – Sporting matching ties, Ryan Adams, dean of the College of Engineering & Mines, and Brad Rundquist, dean of the College of Arts & Sciences, join the president to talk about STEM education at UND and what’s ahead for the two colleges.
Central to the conversation is a new facility soon to be constructed on the former site of the Hyslop Sports Center, currently referred to as the STEM Complex.
Adams and Rundquist talk about the impact the building will have on their respective colleges and the role it will have in enhancing discovery, fostering collaboration and strengthening North Dakota’s workforce.
Armacost recalls the groundbreaking that took place during Homecoming Week and further thanks the donors, legislators and other stakeholders who so far have contributed to and made possible the two-phase project.
