(KNOX) – A van carrying an intramural men’s basketball team was involved in a crash in Ramsey County that sent one person to the hospital.
The highway patrol said that a 2004 Infiniti FX35 and a 2019 Chevy Express Van were driving west on Highway 2 near mile marker 284.
The Infiniti, being driven by a Devils Lake woman, 38, hit the rear of the van, entered the median, rolled, and came to a rest in the median.
The van, which had ten members of the Lake Region College Intramural Basketball team in it at the time, came to a stop. No members of the team were hurt
The driver of the infinity was taken to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks with serious injuries. The accident is under investigation by the highway patrol.
