(KNOX) – The North Dakota Attorney General’s Office said that former Devils Lake police officer Rey Hennen faces seven new charges.
The charges include abuse of power as a police officer and stem from a sexual assault investigation that began at Hennen’s home in September after police received a 911 hang-up call.
During a six-hour standoff in September Hennen is accused of holding a baby in one hand and a gun in the other while threatening to kill himself.
