(KNOX) – During an event Thursday evening at the University of North Dakota, Glenn Beck said that he planned to ask Charlie Kirk to someday be his replacement as a national radio host.
Beck spoke to a crowd of about 2,000 at the Chester Fritz Auditorium.
Kirk was scheduled to speak at the Grand Forks gathering, but was killed on a Utah College campus a month ago.
Security was tight throughout at the event. Local law enforcement had help from the FBI and Homeland Security.
