(KNOX) – Harvest season is heating up in the Red River Valley making traffic on area roads much busier.
In an area that produces the most sugar beets in the country, roads in the Red River Valley are becoming packed at all hours with trucks as the season ramps up, drivers are having close calls with other motorists.
Trucks need to take wide turns or moving at a slow rate of speed need their space. It only takes seconds for a vehicle driving 50 mph to rear-end equipment hundreds of feet away.
So use caution at any time.
