Eight Recruits Graduate from North Dakota Law Enforcement Training Academy

(KNOX) – Eight officers graduated from the North Dakota Law Enforcement Training Academy following successful completion of a comprehensive law enforcement training program. The newly sworn North Dakota Highway Patrol troopers will begin field training with assigned troopers beginning Monday, October 6, and be temporarily stationed at posts throughout the state.

Lt. Evan Savageau, Training Director of the NDHP Law Enforcement Academy opened the ceremony stating, “Each member of this class has passed the requirements for attaining the rank of Highway Patrol Trooper, and we are proud of celebrate them today.”

The graduates and their hometowns are Mark Anderson, Valley City, ND, Kerri Gortmaker, Adams, ND, Breana Hoynes, Bismarck, ND;, Trevor Mischler, Montrose, MN, Harold Rochester, Holtville, CA,  Colin Samuels, Wahpeton, ND, Wyatt Schilling, East Troy, WI and Jordan Wilkes, Jacksonville, FL.

The assigned duty locations of the new troopers will be announced following field later this year.
