(KNOX) – The woman’s body pulled out of the Red River on Monday by Grand Forks Police has been identified as 69 year-old Terri Johnson of East Grand Forks.

She was last seen alive on September 17th and it is unknown exactly when or how she ended up in the river, but the preliminary autopsy results suggest a drowning.

Contrary to numerous social media reports, Ms. Johnson was not bound, and there is no evidence to suggest that anybody else was involved with her death.
