
(KNOX) – Central erupted for 31 straight points in the second quarter to blow past Dickinson 44-21 Friday at Cushman Field.
Central is now 3-0 for the first time since 2004. They travel to Watford City to finish non-conference play for the year.
Eli Thompson ran an interception back 79 yards for a score, then added a 40-yard touchdown catch on a throw from Noah Lease to turn the game into a rout in the second.
Lease finished 8-15 passing for 130 yards and the scoring throw to Thompson. John Shereck led seven rushers with 67 yards. Brooklan Bruce had four catches for 52 yards.
