(KNOX) – A man has been arrested after allegedly fighting with officers in Grand Forks.
According to court documents 48-year-old Clint Smith was served a Notice Against Trespass from the Northlands Rescue Mission in downtown Grand Forks.
Upon noticing the officer’s vehicle, Smith started to yell obscenities and make obscene hand gestures. At that time, Smith allegedly lunged towards the officer and got into a fighting stance. Another officer was requested.
As Smith walked away, he continued to yell. Police found Smith Demers Avenue, where they attempted to arrest Smith, but he did not comply. He pulled back and fought with officers when they tried to put him into custody. Officers eventually got Smith into custody.
Smith is facing multiple charges including terrorizing, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest.
