National Weather Service Says That a Tornado Touched Down in Grand Forks

(KNOX) – According to the National Weather Service an EF-1 tornado touched down in Grand Forks on the south side Friday morning.

The National Weather Service has confirmed four tornadoes in the Grand Forks area that morning.

There was a series of bad weather Friday morning in the Grand Forks area. Tornadoes warnings were issued for the region.

No injuries were reported in Grand Forks. One person was hurt in a tornado near Manvel the National Weather Service said.
