One person was injured when a speeding driver trying to elude law enforcement crashed his car early this morning in Fargo.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports a trooper attempted to make a traffic stop on the suspect vehicle along I-94 shortly before two a-m. The driver refused to pull-over and headed north on I-29 before exiting at 13th Avenue South. That’s when the trooper discontinued the active pursuit for safety reasons.
The suspect driver later hit a car at an intersection and fled the scene on foot. The driver of the second car also took off running. Inside the suspect vehicle was an injured female who was transported to Sanford Hospital. The incident remains under investigation.
