(KNOX) – Due to legal standards, the mural at the North Dakota School for the Blind in Grand Forks will go before city council at a later date.
Grand Forks City Council was to take up the matter at their meeting Monday.
Mayor Brandon Bochenski said that the city is in talks with the state attorney general’s office on the mural.
“Obviously working with the state right now and trying to figure out where that lands. And I think it would be premature to make a movement on that,” said Bochenski.
The city’s attorney, Dan Gaustad, will speak with the North Dakota Attorney General’s Office on the subject.
