(KNOX) – The highway patrol said that a 2017 Ford Edge was traveling eastbound on 12th Avenue North East when it left the roadway in the transition zone at the entrance to the Grand Forks Country Club and struck a fixed object.
The 47 year-old male driver from Grand Forks was pronounced dead at the scene due to injuries sustained in the crash.
The Grand Forks Sheriff’s Office, Grand Forks Police Department, Altru Ambulance Service and the Thompson Fire Department assisted the highway patrol.
The crash remains under investigation by the highway patrol.
