National Weather Service Office in Grand Forks Explains How They Assess Deadly Tornadoes

(KNOX) – The National Weather Service Office in Grand Forks is explaining how they assessed the deadly tornadoes in Enderlin.

They would like the public to know how much time it takes to assess a tornado. They probably would have a summary web page or a report of the event out.

This one would probably take a couple of weeks.

They rate the tornadoes on the EF scale, 1 being the least severe and 5 being the most severe.

The first tornado in Enderlin was rated a 3.
