(KNOX) – A proposed redevelopment in Grand Forks has raised concerns when it comes to neighborhood density and traffic.
The area of Grand Forks is where the old water treatment plant is located. Some residents in that part of Grand Forks have worries of the city’s plan for the former water treatment facility.
The proposal could have an impact traffic on Minnesota Avenue and Fourth Street. Third Street from Minnesota Avenue to Gertrude Avenue in Grand Forks would be cleared out.
A traffic study would have to be undertaken to see how traffic would be impacted in that area.
