(KNOX) – Grand Forks Fire Chief Gary Lorenz has been recommended as the new Fargo fire chief.
A selection committee will recommend Lorenz. Lorenz was among three finalists for the job.
Lorenz spent 28 years with the Fargo fire department before he was hired in grand forks in 2018.
The city commission will consider the recommendation on Monday.
