(KNOX) -Grand Forks man was arrested with meth, marijuana, and other drug paraphernalia in his possession after initially trying to get away from police while riding his bicycle.
According to the Grand Forks Police Department an officer noticed a man riding his bike in the wrong direction in a southbound lane near 4th Avenue and Cherry Street.
The officer followed him into a dead end. The man was then handcuffed.
The man on the bike said he was Jason Anchondo, who already had a warrant for his arrest in Grand Forks.
Anchondo had a small bag under his clothes that contained illegal drugs.
