(KNOX) – Two Grand Forks teens have been charged for their part in a shooting that happened outside a hotel in Grand Forks on January 3.
Mason Allery, 16, and Walker Poitra, 18, are both facing 5 charges of attempted murder and various other charges.
Court Documents say on January 3, at 10:35 p.m., Grand Forks Police responded to North 47th Street for a suspicious activity call.
Upon arrival, police spoke with the victim who said Allery showed her a handgun in the room of the hotel, and proved it was real by taking out several bullets.
After further investigation, it was determined that Poitra fired multiple rounds at and into a vehicle twice.
The records said that there were five people inside the vehicle, two of which were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Poitra is scheduled back in court on June 20. Allery is scheduled back in court on July 31.
