(KNOX) – According to court documents an Eddy County man was ordered to serve four years behind bars for charges from a May 2024 incident in which he fled from Grand Forks County Sheriff’s deputy.
Kyle Kahalehili Maez-Schaack, 32, of New Rockford pleaded guilty to his five criminal charges.
Including three Class C felonies: reckless endangerment showing extreme indifference, fleeing a police officer and criminal mischief causing damage between $2,000 and $10,000.
After he gets out of jail he will be on supervised probation for two years. If he violates any conditions during this time, he will be at risk of going back to jail for six years.
