Two Hurt in Grand Forks County Crash

(KNOX) – According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol two people were injured after crashing into a power pole in Grand Forks County.

The crash happened on 34th Street North East near the intersection of Grand Forks County Road 12.

A Ford F350 truck was westbound when the driver disregarded a stop sign and hit a Ford F150 truck.

Both trucks then hit a power pole.

The Highway Patrol said that the driver of the F150, a 53 year-old man from Northwood was injured and taken to Northwood hospital.

The driver of the F350, a 31 year-old man from Hatton was also injured.

Officials said that 34th Street North East was temporarily closed due to an electrical line crossing the road.

Nodak Electric Cooperative worked to remove the power line and restore power.

The crash is under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
