(KNOX) – In observance of the 23rd anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum have proclaimed Wednesday as Patriot Day and ordered all U.S. and state flags to be flown at half-staff at all state buildings from sunrise until sunset on Wednesday, September 11.
Individuals, businesses, and other organizations are encouraged to join in lowering their flags in observance of the anniversary.
