A Grand Forks man charged with murder in a stabbing death last August has a “change of plea” hearing set for March.
Sahadev Ghalley had pleaded not guilty in November in the stabbing death of 46-year-old Ram Monger at a Grand Forks apartment. Monger later died of his injuries.
Authorities say a kitchen knife was used in the attack.
Ghalley’s final dispositional conference, scheduled for today (Thu), was canceled… and the “change of plea” hearing was scheduled for March 8th.
The Class AA felony carries a maximum sentence of life without parole.
