(AP) – The first “Coolest Thing Made in Minnesota” contest is reaching decision time as nominations close Thursday.
The Minnesota Chamber of Commerce says the voting-style competition allows the public to nominate a “cool” product manufactured in the state.
That includes Hormel Spam and Pepperoni, Arctic Cat ATVs, Starkey Hearing Aids, and more.
The top nominated products will be announced in September. The public will vote on products via head-to-head match-ups in five rounds between Sept. 3 and Oct. 4. The winner will be announced Oct. 8 at the Manufacturers’ Summit in Minnesota .
