(KNOX) – The Republican Parties of North Dakota and Minnesota are among 18 state parties filing a formal complaint with the Federal Election Commission against Vice President Kamala Harris…saying she unlawfully took control of nearly $96 million in campaign funds that were donated to President Joe Biden for his presidential campaign.
Under FEC regulations, a vice-presidential candidate cannot assume control of a presidential candidate’s campaign committee before they are officially nominated.
Campaign watchdog Democracy 21 says the Republican parties have no case… because the funds were donated to the Biden-Harris campaign, not just President Biden.
