(KNOX) – A 64-year-old Bismarck man died in a motorcycle crash last Friday east of Bismarck.
The crash happened on 119th Street Northeast, a quarter of a mile south of Old Highway 10, when the man was on a 2009 Harley-Davidson motorcycle. The North Dakota State Patrol says he failed to negotiate a curve, as he went off of and got back onto the roadway. He then overturned and went into a ditch.
He died at the scene and was not wearing a helmet. He had a 29-year-old Bismarck woman as his passenger and she suffered serious, but non life-threatening injuries. injuries. She also did not have a helmet and she was taken to a hospital in Bismarck.
The State Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
