(KVRR) – Grand Farm celebrated two groundbreakings and an announcement from U.S. Senators John Hoeven and John Boozman.
They announced Grand Farm will receive $5 million from the U.S. Economic Development Administration.
This will be added to the $33.7 million in funding going to build Grand Farm’s next phase.
Two projects planned for phase two include a new, 8,500 square foot Field Operations Facility and the installation of a BenchBot test platform that takes pictures of plants and trains agricultural AI.
Boozman was at Grand Farm two years ago, and says he’s impressed with how the site has developed.
