Grand Forks International Airport Resuming Service To Las Vegas

By Alex Carmenaty Sep 9, 2026 | 8:45 AM

(KNOX) –Grand Forks International Airport is resuming service from Grand Forks to Las Vegas. The flights were scheduled to return this month, and Allegiant Air’s website shows that customers have been able to book flights to Las Vegas since last Thursday.

Flights to Mesa will start up again in November, and service to Orlando will resume in February.

This comes as Grand Forks Mayor Brandon Bochenski and the Air Service Expansion Committee have been trying to add more additional flights at the airport. They have been focusing on trying to get service to Denver that could be through either United Airlines or American Airlines.

The city and the Air Service Expansion Committee hired Meehan Aviation Group as a consultant in 2024 with the plan to expand service.

A daily flight to Minneapolis that is through Delta Air Lines started in April.

The U.S. Department of Transportation awarded the airport a $1 million small community air service grant in order to help add more flights.
