Veterans Honor Flight of North Dakota and Minnesota Continuing Fundraiser at Culver’s

(KNOX) –Culver’s in Grand Forks will have a fundraiser today from 10am to 7pm for the Veterans Honor Flight of North Dakota and Minnesota. A portion of its sales will be used to replace items that were stolen from an American Legion trailer in Moorhead.

More than $30,000 worth of items were taken by a 74-year-old man from Staples, Minnesota. Robert Joseph Andert has admitted to stealing the trailer and burning the items on his property. He was arrested and has been charged with four felonies.

Part of the money that will be raised will go to support the program that takes area veterans on a fully funded trip to Washington, D.C. An Honor Flight from Grand Forks is scheduled for November 1 through November 3.
