(KNOX) –Altru and Encompass Health is hiring a chief executive officer for its Altru Rehabilitation Hospital. Rob Holcomb is becoming the CEO, as he has at least 15 years of experience. He recently worked with the University of Florida Health Shands Hospital located in Gainesville, Florida.
Holcomb is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business management from Liberty University and his master’s degree from Capella University in health administration.
Earlier this summer, Altru announced they were promoting Heather Strandell to chief operating officer. Strandell has worked within Altru leadership since 2004.
