Grand Forks Air Force Base Given $250,000 Grant From North Dakota Department of Commerce

(KNOX) – Grand Forks Air Force Base will receive a $250,000 grant from the North Dakota Department of Commerce. This grant is designed for military missions and to build community partnerships with local bases.

The State Legislature approved the Base Enhancement Grant Program program in 2025, and any projects that are funded through the program will be carried out on June 30, 2027. The recipients of the grants will have to record expenses, while also providing regular progress updates and they must submit a final report of their projects by July 15, 2027. 

The Base Enhancement Grant Program gave a total of $1 million to Grand Forks Air Force Base, as well as to the Minot Air Force Base and the Fargo Air National Guard.
