(KNOX) –The Grand Forks Royals Baseball team will play Thursday morning in the second round of the American Legion Baseball Class AA State Tournament. The Royals are the six seed and they upset number three Mandan 6-2 in the first round. They opponent on Thursday is Fargo Post 400, who is the seven seed in the tournament.
Starting pitcher Alex Seaver pitched a complete game where he only allowed two hits. He also threw seven strikeouts and 98 pitches, while also not allowing an earned run and a walk. He also had a two-run triple in a four-inning top of the first to give himself some run support before he went to the mound.
