Charges Against Two People In Robbery Case Have Been Sent To Juvenile Court

(KNOX) –A Grand Forks Police Department Spokesperson says that charges have been sent to a juvenile court as part of an active investigation into a robbery that happened at An Elegant Affair in June. 

Grand Forks Police Lieutenant Andrew Stein says that one suspect has been identified and that a second suspect’s identification is pending. Police also say they have recovered evidence.
The boutique was broken into on June 25 at around 4:00 a.m. The suspects are accused of stealing inventory, cash, a car key, surveillance cameras and donation money for an employee who’s battling cancer.
The initial police report said there were over $1,800 in items that were stolen and damage that was reported. The suspects appeared to have broken in through a back door.
The suspects identities have not been made public because they are juveniles.
