(KNOX) – Law enforcement, along with search and rescue are looking through an area of Theodore Roosevelt National Park to find a missing hiker last seen in New Town
The North Dakota Highway Patrol says in a social media post that K9 teams are helping find a 37-year-old man.
Artoun Gostantian was last seen this past Sunday morning and his family reported him missing on Monday. Gostantian is described as White/Middle Eastern, who is 5-foot-7 and weighing 178 pounds. He also has brown eyes and black hair.
Surveillance video shows him driving a silver 2022 Toyota RAV4 with Idaho license plates 1AXX35U. The vehicle was found in the park’s North Unit, and more video footage shows him entering the park.
He has prescription glasses and he was wearing a black shirt and black shorts. He also has a cross tattoo on his back and a tattoo on his right shoulder.
Anyone who may have seen him or has any information on his whereabouts is being instructed to call either the New Town Police Department at 701-627-5222, or the Mountrail County Sheriff’s Office at 701-628-2975.
