(KNOX) –The national average for a gallon of gas in the US is now at $4 a gallon once again, as the US war with Iran continues.
AAA reports that the cost for a gallon of gas in both North Dakota and Minnesota are lower than the national average, but each state has gas prices that are higher than what they were a week ago. A regular gallon of gas now costs $3.79 in North Dakota and $3.90 in Minnesota, which is a nearly 20 cent increase for both states.
Both states also have higher diesel gas prices than a a week ago. It’s now $4.67 a gallon in North Dakota and $4.90 in a gallon in Minnesota. That is nearly a 35 cent increase in both states.
At this time last year, each state was under $3 a gallon for regular. Diesel a year ago was $3.44 in North Dakota and $3.61 in Minnesota.
