Culver’s in Grand Forks Hosting Fundraiser For Veterans

(KNOX) – Culver’s in Grand Forks is hosting a fundraiser for the Veterans Honor Flight of North Dakota and Minnesota from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. this Tuesday, July 21 and this Friday, July 24. 

Part of the money that will be raised will go to support the program that takes area veterans on a fully funded trip to Washington, D.C. The veterans on this trip will see war memorials that will be built to honor them. 

Volunteers will be selling several items like hats, mugs, quilts and kitchen towels in the lobby at Culver’s. They will also be selling raffle tickets for prizes that include certificates to Harry’s Steakhouse and the VFW.

An Honor Flight from Grand Forks is scheduled for November 1 through November 3. Each flight costs $290,000 and 870 veterans are currently on a wait list.
