(KNOX) – The Grand Forks Spitfires rolled to an early lead in a 12-6 win over the Minot Honeybees in Minot Tuesday.
Grand Forks had 15 hits and scored four runs in each of the first three innings. Mattison Kwarta, the Spitfires top hitter, upped her average to .508 with a 3-3 day at the plate, including two home runs, and nine RBI.
The Spitfires are back to .500 with an 11-11 record, and play Minot again Wednesday.
