(KNOX) -A woman facing jail time for allegedly setting fire to a vehicle did not show up to court for a change of plea hearing on Wednesday in Mandan.
Cherelynn Ruiz is facing two felony counts of arson and endangering by fire. She was arrested after police say she set fire to an SUV in Bismarck last October.
Ruiz was also arrested in a separate felony case. She’s also being charged with seven counts of child abuse and endangerment of a child or vulnerable adult. Ruiz is scheduled for a change of plea hearing in that case on June 30.
