North Dakota’s Oldest Surviving World War II Veteran Has Died

(KNOX) – North Dakota’s oldest surviving WWII veteran has died at 109 years old.

Ray Curtis passed away at Minot Lodge Senior Living on Sunday morning. Curtis was considered one of the oldest living WWII veterans in the country, and possibly in the world.

He served in the Army both at home and abroad. His 109th birthday was in February.
