(KNOX) – Voters will be deciding on the future of how issues are proposed in future elections.
The June primary election will see a measure asking voters if future measures should be limited to one issue.
Legislators proposed the question in the 2025 legislative session. Senate Majority Leader David Hogue, who was in favor of the measure, said the measure aims to stop “bait and switch” tactics to pass unpopular amendments.
