
(KNOX) – Red River soccer rebounded from a tough semi-final loss to claim third place at the state soccer tournament in Bismarck.
After an opening round 4-0 win over Minot North, Red River ran into a tough Mandan Braves team, dropping a 5-3 matchup to the Braves.
In the third-place match, the Riders won the season series with West Fargo Sheyenne, topping the Mustangs 3-2. The teams split their regular season matchups.
Addison Kotrba finished the season on the All-EDC team as a defensive player. Kotrba is a senior. Ella Bry, a freshman, and Reagan and Taylor Hodny, both sophomores, were also named to the All-EDC team.
