I-29 Road Construction Begins Near Drayton, Pembina

A bridge deck overlay project targets the 93rd Streetoverpass at I-29. That’s at mile marker 200, north of Drayton. The bridge will be closed all summer and is expected to re-open in October. A signed detour will be in place.

Crews also expect to begin a pavement repair project on northbound lanes of I-29 between mile markers 196-217. It will involve lane closures, reduced speeds, and width restrictions, and is expected to wrap up mid-July.

ND Highway 59 between I-29 and the Red River in Pembina is slated for improvements.  The work includes a mill and overlay with ADA curb ramp revisions. Flaggers and a pilot car will be controlling traffic. Motorists should expect speed and width reductions along with short delays for the duration of the project. It is expected to be completed in mid-July.
