Spitfires Sign San Diego State PItcher/Utility Player

(KNOX) – GRAND FORKS, ND – The Grand Forks Spitfires have made a statement signing for their inaugural 2026 season, officially adding Mattison Kwarta, a standout left-handed pitcher and utility player from
San Diego State University.

Kwarta, from Red Bluff, California, arrives in Grand Forks as a high-impact athlete known for her versatility, competitiveness, and ability to change a game in multiple ways. Bringing experience from a top Division I program, she immediately elevates the Spitfires roster and reinforces the organization’s commitment to building a team that is both dynamic and exciting to watch.
