(KNOX) – Fargo North pounded out 30 runs in two games Monday to sweep a doubleheader with Grand Forks Central in EDC baseball.
North won the first of the two marathon games 15-8. The Spartans won the nightcap 15-7.
Game one saw North jump out to an 8-0 lead, only to have the Knights challenge back to within two at 9-7 in the fifth. But North kept pulling away to set the tone for the evening.
Central’s game with Fargo Davies, scheduled for Tuesday, has been postponed due to cold weather.
